What's an Auctiva Commerce Store?
In January of 2009 Auctiva.com who gives eBay sellers free templates and an alternative to eBay's checkout, along with a scrolling slide show to promote items launched a store front website for small sellers to sell items in a store format similar but, better than what one sees from an eBay store in my opinion.
A merchant sets up a store similar to how one lists items in an eBay store except the seller can offer coupons, sell gift certificates, set up loyalty groups, and potential buyers can see info as to manufacture, select a product option (i.e. Block of 4 for an FDC) vs. having to find a identical product in ones listings.
The other advantage is the seller can add a better title and list under multiple categories since more characters are allowed in a title.
There's more advantages to consumers and sellers as well, but will move on.

Do I have to register on Auctiva Commerce to buy items?
No, you simply go to my Auctiva Commerce site and make a purchase.
You'll be asked if you want to create an account at checkout.
Just checkmark the box to indicate no which is located in the section titled create a user account. After the box is clicked, proceed with ordering.
Tip: Checkout button acts as the continue button.
Rest assure your items added to the cart are recorded so, disregard the message about 0 items in cart.

Is there any Payment Restrictions as to payment method used with Auctiva Commerce?
No, you can use any type of Payment method. eBay stores one has to ask the seller about Pick-Up and Pay or about sending a traditional payment method (i.e. Check). I accept all types of payment regardless of where one shops. Just has to be in US currency.
Google Checkout is coming soon which sellers know eBay doesn't let you mention.
However, Minimum purchase of $1.50 is currently required.

Is there a minimum purchase requirement for your Auctiva Commerce Store?
Yes, since one can't define various purchase requirements based on the payment method used (i.e. Check vs. Paypal). This only can be done based on shipment method being used (i.e. Ship by weight).
The minimum is $1.50 for any payment method used.
Exception: If you wish to order items that don't amount to $1 from my Auctiva Commerce Store - send an e-mail to coverkid1@ameritech.net and if an item is in stock, I'll pull from inventory. I welcome any business. Lastly, bear in mind Paypal and other electronic payments will not be accepted for this exception.

Is buying Secure on Auctiva Commerce stores?
Yes, all screens as to passwords and check out/ordering are secure or https encrypted.
There's also the ability to send a electronic check from your bank account, but I have elected to not show this option since there's still people weary about the internet.

Does Auctiva Commerce collect my personal info?
No
Auctiva Commerce doesn't sell ones personal info for marketing.
Nor, do I sell your e-mail and personal address info.
I can't see what your doing on your end as to filling out an order form.
Only time I see your info is after an order was placed; when Payment was made thru Paypal; or when I receive an e-mail about your order.

How do I find items in your Auctiva Commerce store?
Store has a very easy to use and powerful search engine. I took the liberty to add the manufacture or maker/cachetmaker of various postcards or covers (i.e. FDC/Firstday Cover) when known. (i.e. Would use manufacture and select Artcraft if looking for an FDC)
Limit use of abbreviations. Don't use commas to find items, but rather full names. (i.e. Don't use FL when searching for Florida Postcards). Okay, for an abbreviation would be RPPC to indicate Real Photo Postcards.
Displayed are the main categories. When the main category is clicked subcategories appear and the amount of items is displayed next to each subcategory (i.e. Airline Postcards (6) ).
Easiest and best way to find specific items is using the advanced search function then using the pull down menus to make categorial choices and so forth.
What's also nice is you can find items that were assigned to multiple categories.

I don't see sold out and tried to order an item from your Auctiva Commerce site. Why?
Auctiva Commerce simply just didn't add this function yet, but I expect they will.
Note: You'll still will see out of stock when trying to order an item I don't have after clicking on add to cart.
Nor, will the same item you just ordered will be added despite clicking on Add to Cart or trying to modify the quanity unless theres multiples of the same product available.
The site shows how many units are available also next to each product or when you make a choice from a pull down menu as to a product having an option/choice.

How do I use Coupons for Auctiva Commerce?
Simply, ask about the various promotions or type in the code seen on one of my adds.
The coupon codes and information about use can also be found by clicking on the category Current Promotions - Save Big when visiting my Auctiva Commerce Store.
Coupon/promotional code appears under order status or to be specific right under Gift Options. First click on Checkout or the Checkout with Paypal button/option. Then, click on continue which is under the shipping/billing address option.
*If planning on using two coupons, read on. The coupon code/codes will appear below the item/items you ordered. Be sure to use the full name of the coupon/coupons given at my site. Failure to do so, will result in coupon/coupons being unaccepted.
THIS IS IMPORTANT: **If you want to use two coupons, enter the first coupon code, and then second coupon before selecting a payment method and thus, completing your order. Type full name of the coupon (i.e. Free Shipping).
In the event of an error, please notify and I'll modify the order to refelect the savings.

How Do I order eBay Discounted Lots from your Auctiva Commerce Store?
First, click on the category: eBay Discounted Lots 2009
Secondly, you will see a product with no price. Click on add to cart. Rest assure nothing has been added to the cart/basket.
Third, scroll down and you see a table with links leading back to eBay to show the lot, ability to click to see images, and name of Auctiva/eBay lot. Note: You also can click on more images link. All the images used correspond to the image names listed in the table.
Fourth, select from the Auctiva/eBay Lot# shown under Our Price to make a choice. Then, click add to cart.
Note you will get the right lot despite the first image shown above more images when one adds an item to the cart/basket.

How do I order items on your Auctiva Commerce store?
Simply click on the Checkout with Paypal or Paypal Express button when shown to order.
PAYING BY TRADITIONAL METHODS (I.E. CHECK). - IF WISHING TO USE COUPONS READ THE SECTION ON COUPONS AND PROMOTIONS.
STEP 1: Click on checkout - enter all info. NOTE: The info is encryped and ordering is secure. Nor do I sell it and neither does Auctiva Commerce.
STEP 2: Checkmark the box under create account if not wanting to register.
STEP 3: Enter Coupon Code if you have them. Remember, not to proceed with next step until all coupon codes are entered.
STEP 4:Select a Payment Method. Then click on the box mentioning the payment method you just selected. No need to add any info in Add Note at the bottom of Order #
STEP 5:NOTE: Pay no attention to where it says O items. Rest assure the order has and will be successfully recorded. Now, just click on checkout.

How do I use Paypal Express/Paypal when ordering/checking out.
No need to use the ordering form. Simply click on Checkout with Paypal and click on continue. The following paragraphs provided detailed instructions:
Disegard the e-check message.It displays as a precautionary messure if one doesn't have enough funds in your Paypal account.
Hit the continue button vs.checkout button until you see the screen saying Checkout - now press Paypal. *If you have coupons codes enter them first before pressing Paypal.
If screen says processing - wait.
Now, you'll see an Order # with no items displayed near the cart. The order will go thru successfully, now click on Paypal and not checkout.
After you click on Paypal - you'll see captured. This means the payment went thru successfully. Now you can click on checkout.
If you clicked on checkout after getting the Order# - Rest assure, I have a record of the order and can invoice thru Paypal.

Auctiva Cart - Can I store my purchase?
I've done a sample order and see it shows ones previous order history despite no user account created.
If you didn't complete a purchase and revisit, your items are still stored on one's PC unless you delete temporary internet files or disallow cookies.

What types of Payment are accepted for Auctiva.com?
TYPES OF PAYMENTS ACCEPTED
ELECTRONIC PAYMENTS: Paypal; Google Checkout; and Moneybookers. Please note; Google checkout will be added soon by Auctiva Commerce.com and will work like paypal. Moneybookers will be a choice, but currently Auctiva Commerce doesn't support this method - so one will have to complete the order form.

Rest assure payment is secure and is encrypted so, don't worry when the system asks for a phone # as to traditional payments. Phone # is only be asked to contact in case something went wrong with the order such as a problematic shipping address.

How do you ship using Auctiva Commerce?
Shipping rates are flat rate and based on weight.
Simply, put the Auctiva Commerce sites uses the same rates and method used with respect to the shopping cart software my main website uses which is the site your currently on.
eBay has fixed rates and calculated shipping which are not based on weight and this is where the problems start as to shipping inquiries or people being impatient and thus, overpaying on shipping.
A discount is allowed by some sellers, but let's say you won three postcards. Shipping for the first item is a buck and the seller tells you each additional item for shipping will be 50 cents. I can ship three postcars for $1.45. Point is this isn't a discount.

How do you handle returns on Auctiva Commerce Store Items?
You have fourteen days to return item for a full refund. Item must be shipped back in original manner first shipped. Won't reimburse for extra services unless originally paid for. There's no restocking fees and return shipping is also compensated. Not responsible for lost or damaged items, if it's important insure it.
USA Customers use your the coupon code to get free insurance coverage of up to $50 or $1.70 off one's order.
